While Gourmet Guac isn't an old family recipe, it comes from a family tradition of enjoying fine Mexican cuisine. Troy Carter's Grandma Cluff was born and raised in Colonia Garcia in the northern state of Chihuahua, Mexico. She learned the fine art of Mexican cuisine from the locals. She taught her children, and her children taught their children to cook Mexican food.
Troy has always loved Mexican food as do his brother and sisters. When they get together for family functions, they often enjoy tacos, tamales, and green chili. Of course, salsa has always been a staple and as a family they have tweaked and perfected their salsa recipes.
One day, Troy decided that the salsa would make a great base for guacamole. The test was great but not perfect, so he went to work trying to create the perfect guacamole. After years of adding a little of this and a little of that, then less of this and more of that, Troy finally arrived at Gourmet Guac.
Gourmet Guac blends 18 different ingredients to create the longest-lasting, best-tasting guacamole you will ever eat.
It is not your typical Guac. It is a product unto itself!
